Born out of desires, dreams and unfulfilled ambitions, Nick Kane has come out of hiding and reformed his band, The Beautys.

Flashback to 1998, when Nick was a member of the acclaimed country/pop group, The Mavericks. He had just released his solo record Songs In The Key Of E and the Beautys were created as his backup band to present material from that record.

Fast forward five years. The fire is burning ever brighter inside. The desire to return to the stage and to the hard rock music of his youth, to hang a Les Paul from his shoulder, plug into a cranked Marshall and revel in the glory of its deafening roar...

And so it is. Teaming up with veteran ace Danny Darling on drums and talented newcomer Jamie Pruner on bass, Nick has assembled a muscular power-trio driven by new songs that stick close to the blues-rock styles of the 60’s and early 70’s he and Danny grew up in. The original material also reflects the many musical journeys that have come their way; Chicago blues, New Orleans funk, Memphis rockabilly and Texas boogie to name but a few.
